He then made an appearance on the remix of EPMD’s 1989 song You’re a Customer & later that year he released his second album Rollin’ Wit Dana Dane produced by Dana himself along with new managers Gerald LeVert and Jay King out of their newly formed company called Rush Associated Labels(RAL) it also served as his sophomore effort on which the new management team invested some capital into promoting him on various popular radio shows & magazine covers, a music video for the single “Cinderfella Dana Dane” was also filmed. He released his third album The Dude in 1993 on Ruthless Records which included production from DJ Muggs of Soul Assassins fame and fellow rappers Eazy-E & AMG, however, this album faced tough distribution by shady record label politics & lack of national promotion that Dana claimed to have no knowledge of which he later sued Ruthless Records for Rights to Album sales from his prior albums Nightmare On My Street & Cinderfella Dana Dane.
In 1995 DANA DANE decided he wanted to take a break from rapping and pursue some other interests so after a couple of years off, he returned with a different look & more mature sound on his final album entitled Dana Dane 4 Ever. The album included production from hot producers such as The Enhancer, Marley Marl & D-Dre all of who helped Dana achieve his funky sound which was something refreshing out of the WestCoast at that time with records like “Stick ‘Em Up”, “Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy” & “Money In The Bank” which was a minor hit on the R&B/Hip Hop songs chart & later put in rotation on MTV.
